Shabbir Dharamsey

  • Dr. Shabbir A. Dharamsey is a highly accomplished and respected cardiologist, with extensive experience in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology. His illustrious educational background includes: Diplomate of the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease (1995); Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (1991); F.L.E.X certification (1988); F.M.G.E.M.S certification (1987); MBBS from the University of Karachi, Pakistan (1986), with distinction and a Gold Medal in Internal Medicine; Pre-Medical Diploma from D.J. Sindh Government Science College (1978)​

  • In his clinical career, Dr. Dharamsey has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UAMS (AHEC). He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. His expertise includes being a Schneider Wall Stent Proctor and a J & J Coronary Stent Proctor, along with proficiency in Percutaneous Rotational Atherectomy. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association (1996-1998). Dr. Dharamsey holds permanent medical licenses in multiple states, including Arkansas, Illinois, New Jersey, and Louisiana.​
